Thank You Note

A great thanks to Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman for inviting Mr. Tony Buzan to enlighten us with the "Amazing Brain Fact" and the powerful, visual thinking technique - Mind Mapping®. I was so impressed with the effectiveness of Mind Mapping®. It gives me the courage to undergo the Buzan Licensed Instructor's (BLI) pre-certification training program. I've successfully completed the program and awarded with the certification. Now, I am the certified Buzan Licensed Instructor and I've been applying Mind Mapping® techniques is all aspects of my life - daily house chores planning, lecture preparation, planning for academic research and more. I've also been engaged as a trainer for Mind Mapping® courses organised by Buzan Northern Region Centres for school and tertiary levels. In line with the mission of Tony Buzan, I will continue to promote actively mental literacy throughout the northern region of Malaysia with the use of Mind Map®. Hopefully, in the near future everyone around the world particularly in Malaysia is well-equipped with Mind Mapping® skills - to unleash the potential of their brains.

Mind Mapping Workshop (Tertiary Level)

On 7 March 2010, I had conducted Buzan Mind Mapping ® Course for tertiary level for postgraduate students of Wawasan Open University. Participants were exposed to Buzan Mind Mapping ® Laws as well as the power of associative thinking and imagination. They worked in teams to apply the Mind Mapping® techniques in various hand-on activities like note-taking, note-making, presentation and advanced writing. I enjoyed the session with them as it was filled with lots of fun and sharing.

Does Malaysia Investors' Judgement Exhibit Reference Dependence?

This paper has been presented in the 8th Asian Academy of Management Conference at Hyatt Resort Hotel in Kuantan, Pahang (December 18-20, 2009) and has been awarded the "Best Paper Award".
